Thoughts of Hans
17 years ago I lost my very best friend and the love of my life. May 2nd in 1992 was a beautiful, sunny, warm Saturday that changed my life. It has been quite the roller coaster ride. As a family, we've made it through 6 high school graduations, 3 college graduations, 5 weddings, 1 divorce, 3 missions, losing Grandma and Grandpa Bayles, Uncle Don and Uncle Dennis, wearing out several cars, selling the old home and moving into a new one, the birth of 8 beautiful little girls, and many happy and sad times. We all still love and enjoy each other and I'm grateful for that. My children and their spouses are my best friends and the greatest joy and support in my life. They are so good to me and I love them dearly. Yes, Hans, we are doing okay.

ahh man mom, this totally made me cry!!!! I'm so sorry you lost your best friend, I can't EVEN imagine losing Sam. I admire the heck out of you for your strength and handling life so well. I know us 6 kids weren't the easist to raise...but I say you did a pretty good job. Dad was one lucky guy to have you as his wife :) Love you mom
What a touching entry. I think you are a remarkable woman, and you always still keep a sense of humor. I'm so fortunate to know and work with you. Thanks for your example.
Yeah thanks for everything mom. It's kind of been a good but crappy 17 years. Love you
You'll never know what an impact on my life your example has been. I'm grateful we are in the same ward now and I've had the opportunity to get to know you better. You are an amazing woman! Thank you for your example of strength and testimony, Joyce.
Thanks for this, mom. Alot has happened over the years. And, like Andrea said, it's been good but crappy. But overall, we're good I think.
I love you and thanks for everything!
